Easy Christmas Decor Ideas
We all have full schedules right?! Sometimes all you need are those quick and easy ideas…
These are Christmas decoration I put up every year. Let’s face it, this time of year things get CRAZY! You try to live in the moment, create memories for your kids, all while buying and wrapping all the things. I’m with you. It’s exhausting…
Here are easy some easy options to feel keep that festive feeling throughout this season, but they are SUPER simple to do.
Probably my favorite idea is using your kid’s drawings at art. My son drew this when he was in Kindergarten. He’s now in 5th grade. 😢 But it’s the perfect addition to our Christmas decor! Ask your kids to draw what they think Christmas is. Be more specific if you want and ask for a picture of a Christmas tree. Whatever it is, years from now you’ll still be using it. 😊 If you have specific colors you want to use in your home for Christmas, only allow them to use those colors. That way it will coordinate with the rest of your decor and home.
Here are some of my favorite picture frames to add any art to! I have so many of these in my own home!
Bows! Put a bow on anything! This next idea might take a bit more time to create but once it is done, you can reuse year after year. There are some super easy tutorials online on how to create bows. BUT the one below is my favorite and what I used this year because I obviously forgot from the previous years. I also have added some fun ribbon that I ordered this year. Keep in mind, if you want the bow to keep its shape, purchase ribbon with wire included. I have added my favorite ribbons below also if you want to give this a try!
Another easy addition is bells. You can hang them really anywhere, on the door knob, garland, wreathe, literally anywhere. They add such a fun element and music to your ears! I’ve gathered a couple different versions of bells over the years and group them together for you.
I know this is a stressful season, because I feel it too. SO if you want to go simple on your decor this year, DO IT! I full support you!
